In his career, he has achieved notable successes in building large teams and putting in new systems for small, medium and large telecommunication service providers in US, Europe and EMEA. He was also tasked with the responsibility of rollout of the largest and the most successful mobile satellite venture in over 99 countries in the Middle East region and the development and rollout of the largest satellite broadband system by Hughes in North America. During his time with Hughes Network Systems, Neeraj Tewari was awarded the Hughes Chairman’s Honor award in 1997 by Mr. Robert Smith, Chairman of Hughes Electronics for pioneering business success in satellite communications. This prestigious award was given to 10 Hughes employees every year amongst the pool of Hughes employees worldwide. He received two patents in telecommunications in 1999 and 2001 including the Hughes’ most valuable patent.
Neeraj Tewari, Maryland completed his BSEE from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India with GPA 3.9. He has also done MSEE from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA. His GPA was 4.0 and he was awarded with University Fellowship for outstanding work in his graduate program. At Lehigh University, extracts of his graduate thesis were published in IEEE magazine to promote advancement of technology in the area of digital image processing. Through his leadership skills, he inspired many people to take up their responsibility for their actions in organizations.
